Technology for Heritage Preservation in Laos
In Laos, the first survey campaign using LiDAR technology took place in the south of the country, in May 2021.
Juggling with the vagaries of the weather and complications related to the health situation (Covid-19), the significant part of the data acquisition carried out will be supplemented by a second survey campaign in early 2022.
The program, an integral part of the CHAMPA project financed by AFD, is supervised by Damian Evans (EFEO researcher). The first results can be studied by the EFEO in the last quarter of 2021.
